Acceptable Use Policy

Effective 21 October 2026

This policy sets out what is not allowed on a Celvesta switch. It protects you, your customers, our network and the carriers we all connect to. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Traffic that is not allowed

  • Any traffic or activity that is illegal where it starts, passes through or ends.
  • Fraud of any kind, including toll fraud, international revenue share fraud, wangiri (one-ring) schemes, traffic pumping and artificially inflated traffic.
  • Unlawful robocalls, unsolicited marketing calls, and auto-dialed or prerecorded calls without the consent the law requires.
  • Faking or spoofing caller ID to deceive, cause harm or get something of value, or sending calls with caller ID you have no right to use.
  • Scams, impersonation of people, companies or government bodies, harassment and threats.
  • Calls to emergency services that are false, abusive or made in bulk.
  • Traffic that breaks sanctions or export rules.

2. Activity that is not allowed

  • Trying to bypass or interfere with your plan limits, licensing or our monitoring.
  • Using the switch to attack, scan or flood other systems or networks.
  • Trying to access systems, accounts or data you are not authorized to use.
  • Sending traffic that is likely to get our servers, IP addresses or partners blocked.

3. Your customers

You are responsible for the traffic your customers send through your switch. You should know who your customers are, check where their traffic comes from, and act quickly on abuse. Keep the records you need to answer traceback and abuse requests.

4. What we do about abuse

  • We may investigate traffic or activity that we reasonably believe breaks this policy.
  • We may block traffic, or suspend or end the service immediately, without a refund.
  • We may share information with carriers, industry traceback groups and authorities when the law requires it or when needed to stop fraud and abuse.

5. Reporting abuse

To report abuse involving a Celvesta switch, email sales@celvesta.com with the date and time, the numbers involved and any other details you have.
